Top 200 accounting firm Smith + Howard acquired Richardson, TX-based VIP Solutions Group and VIP Search Group on April 30.

Financial terms of the deal weren’t disclosed. The acquisition will expand Smith + Howard’s offerings to include office of the CFO search and staffing, interim management, and consulting services in the areas of accounting, finance, transactions, and strategy.

VIP was founded in 2008 by Mike Haynes, Eric Foerster and Jess Padek, each of whom will continue to serve in leadership roles.

The firm provides accounting and finance consulting, recruiting services, and interim management solutions to clients that range from small, privately held companies to large Fortune 500 companies.
